Caring for Your Bubbles

Below you’ll find everything you need to know about caring for your Bubble Balloon. Please take a few moments to read through this information carefully.

As a newly established business, we are currently offering delivery within North Down only.

As we grow, we hope to expand our delivery areas in the future and offer a collection service — thank you for supporting a small local business.

Care Instructions

Once your Balloon Bubble has been collected or delivered, responsibility for its care transfers to the customer.

To help your Bubble look its best for as long as possible, please follow the guidelines below:

  • Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources
  • Avoid exposure to very cold temperatures
  • Store at a comfortable room temperature
  • Keep away from sharp objects, corners or rough edges
  • Handle with care — balloons are delicate
  • Do not leave balloons in vehicles for extended periods, especially overnight

Balloons naturally expand and contract depending on temperature. You may notice slight size changes if the Bubble is moved between environments. This is completely normal and unavoidable, and may affect how long the balloon lasts.

If the balloon reduces slightly in size, you may allow it time to adjust to room temperature and gently retie the ribbon if needed.

Depending on environmental conditions and care, Bubble Balloons can last from several days to several months.

As the balloon naturally reduces over time, the vinyl writing may wrinkle slightly. This is part of the natural ageing process and cannot be prevented.

Disposal & Environmental Care

When you are ready to dispose of your Balloon:

  • Using scissors, carefully make a small cut in the balloon to release the air. As our Bobo balloons are crafted from soft plastic, they won’t burst — they will gently deflate.
  • Continue cutting down the side to remove the contents
  • Dispose of the balloon responsibly in household waste
  • We encourage mindful disposal wherever possible.

Reuse & Repurpose with Care

The gift box base and luxury trimmings included within your Bubble have been thoughtfully selected so they can be reused, repurposed or upcycled long after your celebration.

Careful consideration is taken when securing each item inside your Bubble to ensure they can be removed without damage wherever possible.

  • External clothing items, such as baby booties, are secured using discreet fashion tape and can be easily removed from the sole without leaving marks.

  • Plush bears, larger clothing pieces and comforter bundles are attached via clothing stitches and craft line, avoiding damage to the item itself.

  • Hat box acrylic tags are secured using Scotch tape, applied carefully to help preserve the box so it remains in beautiful condition for reuse.

We always aim to assemble your Bubble in a way that protects the contents and allows you to enjoy or repurpose each element again.

 

Quality Guarantee

Every Bubble Balloon is thoroughly checked before delivery to ensure it meets our quality standards.

Once the balloon has been delivered, Bubble Balloons Gift Shop is no longer responsible for its lifespan or care.

We are not liable for damage caused by third parties or mishandling. If a replacement balloon is requested due to customer damage, the cost of the replacement will be the responsibility of the customer.

We kindly ask that all customers read the care guidelines provided to ensure the best possible lifespan for their Bubble Balloon.

Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop is fully insured with BAPIA public liability insurance. Documentation can be provided upon request.
