Terms & Conditions

Introduction

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before ordering any Goods or Services from Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop.

By placing an order, paying a booking fee or deposit, making full payment, or otherwise purchasing any Goods or Services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions govern the supply of all Goods and Services provided by Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop and form the entire agreement between us and our customers.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions:

"Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions and any documents referred to within them.

"Goods" means any balloons, Balloon Bubbles, gifts, personalised products, decorations, accessories, party items, or related products offered for sale by Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop from time to time.

"Services" means any balloon, gift, personalisation, delivery, event styling, installation, design, consultation, or party-related services provided by Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop.

"You", "Your" and "Yours" refer to the person, business, organisation, or entity ordering Goods or Services from us.

"We", "Us" and "Our" refer to Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop, the business providing the Goods and Services described within this Agreement.

"Order" means any request placed by you for Goods or Services, whether made through our website, social media platforms, email, telephone, messaging services, or in person.

"Delivery" means the transfer of Goods to the customer or recipient at the agreed location, date, and time.

"Personalised Products" means any product customised with names, dates, messages, photographs, colours, designs, or other customer-specific requirements.

Section 1. Orders & Payments

1.1 A non-refundable booking fee/deposit of 50% of the total order value is required to secure all bookings.

1.2 Orders are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

1.3 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 48 hours before the agreed delivery date and time.

1.4 If final payment is not received by the due date, Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop reserves the right to cancel the order and retain the deposit.

1.5 All prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation. After this period, prices may be amended.

1.6 Any changes requested after booking must be communicated as soon as possible. Whilst we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate amendments, we cannot guarantee that changes can be accepted once materials have been ordered or production has begun.

1.7 If requested changes result in an increase to the overall order value, a revised invoice will be issued and must be paid before production commences.

Section 2. Personalisation

2.1 Customers are responsible for checking all names, dates, spellings, colours, messages, and other personalisation details before confirming their order.

2.2 Orders will be produced exactly as the information is provided by the customer.

2.3 Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop cannot be held responsible for errors submitted or approved by the customer after confirmation.

Section 3. Production & Quality Control

3.1 Orders are generally prepared approximately 48 hours prior to delivery to allow sufficient time for quality control checks.

3.2 Every effort is made to ensure products are delivered in excellent condition.

3.3 Once production is complete, amendments may not be possible.

3.4 All products are thoroughly inspected prior to dispatch or delivery.

3.5 We use high-quality balloon materials; however, balloons remain naturally delicate and temporary products.

Section 4. Delivery

4.1 We offer local delivery within the BT23 area and surrounding areas of Northern Ireland for an additional fee.

4.2 We do not currently offer postal or courier services.

4.3 Delivery times and charges will be agreed at the time of booking.

4.4 Customers must provide accurate delivery addresses and contact details.

4.5 Customers or an authorised recipient must be available to accept delivery at the agreed time.

4.6 Helium balloons and balloon arrangements cannot be left unattended on doorsteps, outside properties, or in garages, sheds, conservatories, or vehicles.

4.7 We are not responsible for failed deliveries resulting from incorrect information, inaccessible properties, unavailable recipients, or circumstances outside our control.

4.8 If a second delivery attempt is required, additional delivery charges may apply.

4.9 Risk and responsibility for all products transfer to the customer upon delivery.

4.10 A text message may be sent to the purchaser prior to delivery to confirm that delivery is scheduled.

4.11 Delivery charges are non-refundable once delivery has been attempted.

Section 5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 Deposits and booking fees are strictly non-refundable.

5.2 No refunds will be provided for completed, personalised, custom-made, or bespoke items.

5.3 Once production has commenced, cancellations are not permitted.

5.4 Refunds will not be issued due to dissatisfaction where the product has been supplied as ordered.

5.5 If a customer chooses to cancel an order after materials have been purchased or personalised items have been produced, no refund will be issued regardless of the stage of completion.

5.6 Any booking date changes requested by the customer are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5.7 If a product arrives damaged due to an issue deemed to be the responsibility of Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop, customers must notify us immediately upon receipt so that we can investigate and determine an appropriate resolution.

Section 6. Balloon Longevity & Product Disclaimer

6.1 Balloons are delicate, temporary, and perishable products.

6.2 Due to factors beyond our control, including temperature, humidity, handling, transportation, and storage conditions, we cannot guarantee balloon float times, appearance, or lifespan.

6.3 Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop accepts no responsibility for balloons that deflate, oxidise, pop, become damaged, or otherwise deteriorate after delivery.

6.4 No guarantee is provided on balloon longevity.

6.5 Once delivered, all responsibility for the care and handling of the products passes to the customer.

6.6 Every Balloon Bubble undergoes a thorough quality inspection prior to delivery. Once the product has been accepted by the customer or recipient, Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop cannot be held responsible for damage caused by mishandling, transportation, environmental conditions, third parties, pets, children, or accidental punctures.

6.7 Should a replacement balloon be requested due to customer damage or circumstances outside our control, a new order and full payment will be required.

6.8 Balloons are sensitive to weather and environmental conditions. We cannot be held responsible for changes in appearance, inflation, or longevity caused by heat, cold, humidity, wind, rain, direct sunlight, or atmospheric pressure.

6.9 Customers should be aware that:

• Balloons will expand in warm temperatures.
• Darker balloon colours absorb heat more quickly.
• Balloons may oxidise over time, causing a cloudy or matte appearance.
• Balloon size and appearance may fluctuate due to environmental conditions.

Section 7. Balloon Care Guidelines

To maximise the lifespan and appearance of your balloons, customers should follow the guidance provided.

Once your Balloon Bubble has been delivered, its ongoing care becomes the responsibility of both the purchaser and recipient.

Display & Handling

• Balloon Bubbles are decorative display items.
• Products are intended for indoor use only.
• Display on a flat, stable surface.
• Avoid unnecessary handling.
• Always lift arrangements by the gift box base.
• Never lift or carry by the balloon.
• Keep away from sharp objects, pets, rough surfaces, and corners.
• We strongly recommend that arrangements are not relocated once received.

Temperature & Storage

• Store indoors at room temperature.
• Avoid sudden temperature changes.
• Keep away from radiators, fireplaces, heaters, and direct sunlight.
• Do not leave balloons in vehicles, garages, sheds, conservatories, or outdoor environments.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to wind, rain, frost, and sunlight.

Balloon Longevity

• Balloon Bubbles are air-filled and may last from several days to several weeks, and occasionally months.
• Lifespan varies and cannot be guaranteed.
• Balloons naturally deflate over time.
• Minor wrinkling is a normal part of the ageing process.

Disposal & Environmental Care

• Once finished, carefully make a small cut to release the air.
• Dispose of balloon materials responsibly and in accordance with local waste regulations.

Quality Guarantee

Every Balloon Bubble undergoes a thorough quality control inspection before delivery to ensure it leaves us in excellent condition.

Any concerns regarding faults, damage, or errors believed to be the responsibility of Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

We cannot accept responsibility for damage, punctures, deflation, deterioration, or reduced lifespan resulting from incorrect handling, transportation, storage, environmental conditions, or failure to follow care instructions.

Section 8. Safety Information

8.1 Balloon products are decorative items only and are not toys.

8.2 Children must be supervised at all times when handling balloons, ribbons, weights, packaging, decorative accessories, or materials.

8.3 Balloon fragments, ribbons, and decorative components may present choking hazards.

8.4 Customers are responsible for ensuring appropriate supervision of children around balloon products.

8.5 Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop accepts no liability for injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse of products or inadequate supervision.

8.6 Customers must notify us of any known latex allergies before placing an order.

8.7 Balloon products should be kept away from naked flames, candles, fireplaces, heaters, and other heat sources.

8.8 Burst balloons and balloon fragments should be disposed of immediately.

Section 9. Colours & Product Images

9.1 Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings, photography, lighting conditions, supplier availability, and manufacturing variations.

9.2 Product photographs are provided as examples only.

9.3 Whilst every effort is made to match agreed designs, minor variations may occur without affecting the overall appearance or quality of the final product.

Section 10. Customer Images & Image Preparation

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use any photographs submitted to Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop.

We may use image-editing software, including AI-assisted background removal tools, solely for image preparation and presentation purposes.

AI is not used to alter facial features, body shape, age, expression, or other significant aspects of submitted photographs.

Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop cannot be held responsible for poor-quality results resulting from low-resolution, blurred, cropped, damaged, or unsuitable images supplied by customers.

Section 11. Photography & Marketing

11.1 All photographs and videos taken by Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop remain our intellectual property.

11.2 We reserve the right to use photographs and videos of our work for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, printed materials, advertising, and marketing campaigns.

11.3 By paying the booking deposit, customers consent to the use of such images unless they have requested in writing, prior to payment, that photographs of their order are not used.

11.4 Personal information will never be shared without consent.

Section 12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop will always endeavour to provide products and services to the highest possible standard.

12.2 Our total liability for any claim arising from an order shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that order.

12.3 We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of enjoyment, inconvenience, or financial loss.

12.4 We shall not be responsible for delays, failures, or losses caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Section 13. Insurance

13.1 Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop holds Public Liability Insurance through BAPIA.

13.2 Proof of insurance can be provided upon request.

Section 14. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

14.1 Whilst we always do our best to fulfil every order, circumstances outside our control may affect production or delivery.

14.2 These may include severe weather, road closures, vehicle breakdowns, illness, supplier shortages, stock changes, accidents, machine failures, or other unforeseen events.

14.3 If this occurs, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible and endeavour to provide an alternative solution.

Section 15. Acceptance of Goods

15.1 Customers are encouraged to inspect products upon delivery.

15.2 Any concerns regarding damage or errors must be reported immediately upon receipt.

15.3 Acceptance of delivery confirms satisfaction with the condition of the products at the time of delivery.

Section 16. Reuse, Repurpose & Product Assembly

At Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop, we thoughtfully design our Balloon Bubbles with sustainability and reusability in mind.

Many elements included within your Balloon Bubble may be reused, repurposed, or recycled.

Items may be secured using fashion tape, wooden dowels, craft line, tagging guns, removable adhesives, stitching methods, or similar materials to ensure safe transport and presentation.

Wherever possible, adhesives are applied only to external packaging and not directly to gifts.

We encourage customers to reuse keepsake items, gift boxes, acrylic tags, faux florals, and decorative elements wherever possible.

Every Balloon Bubble is carefully assembled to protect contents whilst maintaining a beautiful presentation.

Section 17. Changes to Terms & Conditions

17.1 Balloon Bubbles Gift Shop reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

17.2 The Terms & Conditions in force at the time of booking shall apply to that booking.
