The Creator Behind the Bubbles

Hi, I’m Lucy — and one of my favourite compliments has always been, “You’re so creative.”

And those who know me know that Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do.

In 2021, I began refining my skills in balloon artistry with the intention of launching my own small business. But life had other exciting plans. Shortly after, I was given the opportunity to assist one of Belfast’s most respected event stylists and planners — an experience I simply couldn’t turn down.

That role naturally evolved into my next chapter: working as a bridal stylist for one of Belfast’s most established and reputable bridal boutiques. There I developed an even greater appreciation for detail, presentation and the emotion behind every celebration. It is a chapter I will always hold close. 

As my family grew and life became busier, my own creative venture naturally took a step back.

This brings us up to today, where I now work at By Caitlyn, a growing cosmetics brand. It’s a role that has allowed me to balance motherhood and my career, and one where I embrace every creative opportunity — from styling displays to supporting special events and celebrations within the company. But creativity has a way of calling you back.

Now, while on maternity leave with my third baby, the timing finally feels right. Bubble Balloons Gift Shop is the result of years of passion, experience and a love for design, detail and meaningful moments.

It combines everything I adore — thoughtful styling, beautiful presentation and creating gifts that feel unforgettable.

From our first message to the final ribbon, each design is made with care, creativity and attention to detail. These aren’t simply balloons — they’re celebrations, surprises and lasting memories. I’d love to create something special for you.
